FEMA Assistance for those without Flood Insurance

It appears we (Houston Area) are at the end of a historic storm producing rain levels of biblical proportions.   I do not think that anyone was prepared for what Texas and specifically, the Houston area experienced.   Our Neighbors to the East (Beaumont, Port Author, Lake Charles) continue to experience damage caused by Hurricane, now Tropical Storm, Harvey.  We will continue to support them in any way possible.

I have to admit, it was amazing to see so many of our neighbors and volunteers from surrounding communities come together for a common goal of Saving Lives.    We are all in this together and I can only hope that the love and support we exemplified on the National Stage will be contagious.

It was noted that 80% of those in flooded areas do not have Flood insurance.   If you do not have flood insurance and experienced damage, we want to provide you with information for assistance.    FEMA has assets here in our area to help –

To access FEMA assistance, complete an application at :

www.disasterassistance.gov    or call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).

If you have flood insurance coverage and need assistance filing a claim, you can visit FEMA’s site @

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those affected and will do whatever we can to help.   You can reach us at 800-362-2809 and will be happy to provide any assistance and support we can in your recovery efforts.   May God Bless Texas!
